I'm a Band teacher and my 8 year old showed interesting in the trumpet. With his age I didn't want to drop a ton of money on something he might not love. I played it and I'm extremely impressed with the sound and durability.

This is a solid instrument. It is NOT plastic. I highly recommend. My uncle is in a military band and has been a trumpet player most of his life. He couldn’t believe how good the quality of this instrument was AND it cheaper than renting the schools instruments.

Great trumpet for beginners and even if you’ve already played. It comes with a awesome case, great cleaning kit, and all-around good value for the money. We bought it as a temporary replacement while his $1200 trumpet was being repaired and my son loves you just as much as his Bach.

My daughter has been asking to learn a instrument for band as all the instruments she knows are not played in high school band. I got her this trumpet and she was ecstatic! She absolutely loved the color purple. I showed her music teacher and she said it’s the perfect beginner trumpet to start exploring the new instrument. Now for sound quality I can’t say too much as she is learning but I tell you what it definitely toots lol

Overall I am really impressed with the overall quality and sound from this trumpet, and my son finds it easier to play and with an overall better tone then the yearly Yamaha rental piece he had in previous years. time will tell on the overall durability, but it hasn't had any issues to date. Highly recommended.

The value and the product are great. We rented a trumpet for 1/3 the price and when we were considering buying it 7 months later they said it would be about $700 to $800 dollar and that was with a 30% discount. I returned it and said I’ll wait for a deal for my young son to have his own later. Glad I waited. I bought 2 a gold and silver to see which one he would like, light gold of course. ( I preferred silver). Returned silver one but for the price and the accessories that came with it, I even thought why not donate to local school. It’s a starter, but man you get a bang for your buck.

I was hesitant with the price but it’s amazing for the price. I bought it as a secondary trumpet so my kid would not have to haul her concert trumpet ($2300 Yamaha Xeno) to and fro everyday. Having something to practice on at home or use at the football games.
It’s lighter weight than the Xeno and the sound isn’t quite the same but pretty darn good and … it’s red!
Totally recommend if your kid is starting out in band. A lot cheaper than renting or buying from the music store

My daughter is still on the fence about band and not sure if she wants to devote her time to it long term. So far this is a great instrument for the price. It is built well and the sound is great. It comes with everything you need to get started. For a little more than a hundred dollars she can try it and see if she develops a passion for music. Instead of spending up to and over a thousand dollars for an instrument or an on going $45 monthly rental.

We have to get our 5th graders instruments for school. They recommended renting, I found that renting is at least $20 per month plus the insurance repair plan that they recommend plus a music stand and cleaning kit and a book. This just seems pretty excessive for a few months of use. This item was affordable and I was able to find the stand and book for cheap as well. I think this is a way better option than renting and you get to choose a cool color that normally wouldn’t be available. Overall happy with the purchase

Played trumpet years ago, bought this one to see if I still could. Back in the 90s, had a silver Bach that was close to $1K, this sound sand functions almost as well. Given the other in 1995 dollars was more than ten times the price of this one in 2021 dollars, I’d say it’s a fantastic deal! Great for beginners with “extras” usually only found on higher end models. If you’ve got a kid just learning to play, this is a great choice - they can learn and use it for several years, and if they end up putting it down then you’re out less than a hundred bucks. Highly recommend!!

My sons band teacher was dead set on trying to sell me a very expensive trumpet. After two years of being in public school band and using the provided instrument my son was dying for his own! We found this one and decided that we would give it a shot since it was extremely affordable! After taking it to the school curious about whether or not the band teacher would approve this instrument, the band teacher thought this instrument was outstanding especially for the price! He said the sound in quality are both outstanding. If you’re thinking about buying this instrument I gave it five stars and beyond! Go for it!

I needed a trumpet to use with my trumpet students, so I could play along with them (especially the beginners). This is a great basic model. It has a good sound, good feel. The case is really nice with the external gig bag with the extra ways to use the straps or handle. UPDATE: The trumpet is still good, but do NOT use the valve oil that comes with it. It caused the valves to start sticking worse. I have to wash them off completely and inside and get a brand name valve oil.

The box that arrives on your doorstep is emblazoned with the word TRUMPET on the side, so if you plan on giving this as a gift to your child who comes home and sees the packages before you do, well, get ready for a ruined surprise. Other than that, I opened the box to make sure things are in order and they certainly seem to be...the trumpet looks new, well crafted and without blemishes that I can tell. Everything comes wrapped and packaged within. The case seems to be pretty sturdy, lightweight and the zipper seems fine; there is a flap near the handle that protects the zipper, which is a nice touch.

We were renting a trumpet for my 10 year old when I decided to research buying one myself. The used one I was renting would have ending up costing 5-10 times as much as this one. Boy, was I glad I ended up just buying this. Even if he quits after a year, I would have paid more than this to rent one. My child said that this trumpet was easier to use than the rental which retailed at $500 used. As a beginner, we really can’t tell the difference between this trumpet and a more expensive one. I would recommend this in a heartbeat if you have a beginner trumpet player and want a good value. The case is. Ice and it comes with a cleaning kit. We have used it for two months with no problem now. I can’t say what it would be like for an experienced player.

I played trumpet actively for about 7 years (over 50 years ago). I sold my original professional Benge about twenty five years ago. My granddaughter started trumpet this year in band and I wanted to give her Zoom lessons across the country. I did not want to invest huge bucks in a new instrument not knowing at all if I would stick with it. So I bought this $110 (I assume Chinese trumpet). I was pretty rusty on my trumpet playing but was heartened at how much one retains after fifty years but it is coming back rapidly. Now for my take on the trumpet: overall, I’m very happy with it. The valves and slides all worked well. The quality of the sound is just fine. (I think it is the trumpet player that is likely the weak link.) I have been at it now again for about three months. I have played all the notes from low F sharp to high E above high C ( when I’m fresh). I have observed the tuning throughout that range. Of course low C sharp 123 is way sharp which requires extension of the 3rd valve slide (same as my Benge). My middle E fourth space on the staff is little hard to hit the pitch solid but I suspect that again is the player. I don’t have an easy higher range back yet. In short, for $110 it is a heck of a bargain. At this point, I have to wonder if my first expensive PRO horn was noticeably much better. This is perfect beginner trumpet and likely take someone well into intermediate.

I must admit for the price I was extremely skeptical, but with the abundance of positive reviews I ordered this horn. I am very positively impressed. Upon unboxing, I very closely examined the horn; the plating and finish is flawless. The slides are smooth, as are the valves. I oiled the valves, and I put the horn to the test. Valve response is clean, quick and crisp. The instrument produces a full range of vibrant rich tones and is well made. I have been a trumpet player for 53 years, and this instrument is a bargain. It seems nicer than some I have played that were many times the price. Thank you for providing a quality instrument at an affordable price. This purchase made me smile!

Birthday surprise present for my wife’s 40th. Hasn’t played trumpet in years...she loves this new trumpet! Great product, great price!

Great for beginners with a nice carry case.

This trumpet is well packaged, comes with its case and all the accessories.
It looks very nice.
My son signed up for band and this is his first time trying the trumpet.

The case is quite nice!
All in all, it’s a functional trumpet that sounds pretty good.
I’m fairly pleased with this purchase, again, considering the amount spent.

I have been consistently impressed by the value of Eastar products. This trumpet seems to be very well-manufactured - the finish is even, the joints look good, the values have good action even before oiling, and all of the valves and tubes move and fit nicely. The overall package is very complete and thought through: the case seems sturdy and thoughtfully planned, with different carrying options and a pocked and nooks inside, and a full cleaning kit and gloves are included as well as a mouthpiece. Great instrument for beginners, fine instrument for intermediate school musicians and an excellent choice for adults picking up trumpet to learn on.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Eastar Trumpet. Other than the shipping box having some tares from delivery, which is to be expected, everything came perfectly packed inside the trumpet case.
